ERIN GIORGI

Senior Stylist and Owner

Hey, I’m Erin. I’m the owner of Hair Craft Salon and Barbershop at RAAF Williamtown. I've cut hair on base for 10 years. In March 2020 I took over from the previous owner. On June 1st 2020 we opened our brand new salon in the Retail Precinct on base and began trading normal hours again (Yes, with all the Covid-19 protocols and requirements in place).
The salon has gone from strength to strength ever since! There are now 4 of us working various hours throughout the week over 2 salons.

Having a large clientele of men and predominately doing men’s haircuts during my time on base they have become a real passion of mine. Growing up with 4 older brothers, I feel comfortable hanging out with the guys and building a rapport with them. American Crew has our male customers always looking stylish and smelling great!

Despite growing up with big brothers I somehow managed to turn into a real girly girl. I love hair, makeup, shoes and clothes! Maintaining nice nails and an ever growing supply of lipstick and hair equipment it’s no surprise that hairdressing was going to be my career.

I have implemented Revlon Professional Colour and Care products into the business for the women. It’s an amazing high quality product and they are a company who continue to support and mentor both myself and my team. Education is a must with an ever-evolving industry and I strive to keep my personal knowledge and technical abilities to a standard that ensures happy customers every time!
I am married with 2 kids. Gabriella is six (going on 16) and Nicholas is two years old. They keep me busy and level headed.
I took over the business with the intention of providing for my family’s future and having the flexibility to maintain a work/life balance.
Hair is my passion. Family is my love.

Knowing how busy a working Mum’s life can be….with umpteen cups of coffee, concealer to hide the dark circles from sleep deprivation and having a fuzzy ‘pregnant brain’ EVERYDAY…..I know how important it is to look and feel amazing. Hair Craft Salon is designed to be that place where customers can come to have their hair service, coffee and chat all in one place.
